Day 36, Shiel bridge to Morvich. 4m

Woke to fine morning with no wind, decided to go on a bike ride, along the shores of loch Duich, about five miles to the old ferry terminal, opposite Eilean Donan castle. As you can see from the photo below, it was a very calm morning, until a van went passed on the narrow road, causing me to have to stop and put my foot down on the verge , which unfortunately was a ditch so I was left upended with shouts of ****.

We eventually came to the old ferry terminal, (shed on edge of slipway). On the way back we came across Donald Campbells shelter, where for the cost of a dram he will regale you with tales of the area, but it was
closed until summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a walk up the valley behind the CC site at Morvich, we settled down to a dram ourselves and a chinese stir fry.
