Speed Bonnie Boat...........
Set off early (10.30am) to get over the sea to Skye. Can't stop singing that bloody song about Bonnie Prince Charles! First stop Talisker distillery as Adam is a whisky connoisseur, or at least likes to drink it, so had to pay homage. The tour included a tot, which I really enjoyed, but not as much as a glass of red! Couldn't resist a purchase in the shop after - sucker!
Portree
Had a walk round Portree, a few gift shops, restaurants and a pretty harbour. Got all excited at seeing a fresh fish sign - but they are closed on Saturdays! Want to buy some fresh prawns and scallops to cook with garlic and butter, but its going to be a Lloyd Grossman chicken madras while we watch the USA v Ingerland match.
