On another old bike & Loch Long
NOW we are in Scotland! Rain, wind, mist we have it all! During a dry spell this morning we decided to bike the 7 mile "Cats Cradle" mountain bike route round the Argyll forest. For the first 3.5 mile we climbed, and we climbed, then we climbed some more. We even had to walk some of it! Just when we thought we may need oxygen to go any further we started to descent - fast! Lets just say its the hardest mountain bike experience we have had!
After an afternoon of recouperation, we took the rottwieler (it must be said she is mellowing with the miles - saw a dog today and didn't even bark or growl) for a tour round the forest, then back for a well earned bottle of red.
