Day 54 Carradale to Inveraray 65mls

Tarbert
Visited Tarbert which was the scene of a fairly disastrous holiday in 1979, when together with my mother and her Yorkshire terrier, Fluff, we hired a cruiser from Tarbert. The weather was foul, and so was my mothers mood, so we returned on the Thursday, three days early!
There was a seafood festival on with no actual seafood to eat, just a few stalls selling homemade pickles, shortbread and fudge. There was a guy in a van selling raw fish so we bought some sea bass for tonight. The town has improved since our last visit which then comprised of one man and his dog. A bowl of seafood soup in the barge cafe and then on to our overnight stop 2 mile south of Inveraray.
