Day 1&2 Evesham to Delamere Forest, Chester 100ml

We are back on the road! Going to do the coast of Wales, so starting at Chester we are booked in to Delamere Forest site for 2 nights. Right next to the forest so plenty of walking and biking to be had.
Arrived at about 2pm yesterday, Sunday 5/9/10, and did the red walking route, about 4 mile. Taz is a changed character - saw hundreds of dogs off the lead, and as she seemed to be ok decided to let her off too. She did not attack or growl at one dog! Even a small terrier that ran past with its jogging owner!
We have slipped back into life in the van like putting on a pair of old slippers.

Today, Monday, after a stroll round the forest we caught the train from Delamere (station 200yards away) to Chester (20mins). Took the tourist bus round the city, which is very pretty and quite compact, with a lovely pedestrian only section. Lots of history, roman and medieval.  Like Stratford only bigger and better.

The Rows

After a dissappointing panini, chugged back to the site and after another wander in the forest with the laid back mutt, just made it back inside before the rain we have been promised all day finally made an appearance.
